Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to joinaifilmacademy.com, the course platform at joinaifilmacademy.com/app and every purchase made on them. They are an agreement between you and Qivora Technologies LLC, a New York company that operates Join AI Film Academy ("we", "us"). By ticking the agreement box at checkout and paying, you accept these Terms, our Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can buy

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian buy for you and supervise your use. You must give a real email address and be authorised to use the payment card you enter.

2. What we sell

Digital learning products only: (a) memberships, billed every 1, 4 or 12 weeks as shown at checkout, which give access to our courses and to new monthly content while the membership is active; and (b) lifetime purchases, which give access to the course or courses named on the purchase for as long as we run the platform. Access starts immediately after payment. Membership access to the Advanced course begins on day 8 of the membership.

3. Prices and introductory offers

The price you pay today, the regular price that follows, how often you will be charged and the date the regular price starts are shown next to the payment button before you pay, and repeated in your confirmation email. An introductory price applies only to the first billing period stated at checkout. After it ends, the regular price applies automatically. Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added where required.

4. Automatic renewal

Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the regular price shown at checkout, until you cancel. By ticking the agreement box you authorise us, through our payment processor Stripe, to charge the payment method you gave at each renewal. We email you the terms of your membership right after purchase, and a reminder before your introductory price ends. If we ever change the regular price, we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.

5. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time online: sign in, open Account › Manage membership and click Cancel. You can also email info@joinaifilmacademy.com from the address on your account. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date shown in your account.

6. Refunds

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: a charge can be refunded if you ask within 3 days of that charge and have not used the course since it (no lessons opened, no videos played and no files downloaded). Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be waived.

7. Your agreement, electronic signature and records

Ticking the agreement box and completing payment is your electronic signature and has the same effect as a signed agreement. You agree to receive these Terms, receipts, reminders and other notices electronically, by email and in your account. We keep records of your agreement (the exact wording shown, the date and time, your IP address, approximate location and browser), your purchases, the emails we send you, and your account activity (logins, lessons opened, videos played, files downloaded and certificates issued). We use these records to provide the service, to apply the Refund Policy, to prevent fraud, and to show that a purchase was authorised and the service was delivered, including to banks and card networks if a payment is disputed.

8. Payment problems and disputes

If a charge looks wrong, please email info@joinaifilmacademy.com first. We answer within 2 business days and fix genuine mistakes quickly, which is faster than a bank dispute. If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and pause access until it succeeds. If you dispute a charge with your bank, we may suspend the account while the dispute is open and will provide the records described in section 7 to the card issuer. This does not affect your right to dispute a charge you did not authorise.

9. Your account

Your account is for you only. Do not share your login or the course materials, or resell access. We may suspend accounts that are shared or used to copy the course.

10. Buyers in the EU, UK and similar countries

Our products are digital content supplied immediately. At checkout you ask for access to start straight away and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once you begin using the content. If you have not used it, you may still withdraw within 14 days of purchase.

11. Your work

Films and images you make are yours, subject to the terms of the AI tools you use (for example Google, ElevenLabs). You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload and for labelling AI content where platforms require it.

12. Acceptable use

Do not use what you learn to impersonate real people, make deepfakes without consent, harass anyone, or infringe copyrights or trademarks.

13. Results and third-party tools

The courses teach skills. We do not promise income, views, followers or any business result. The course uses third-party tools we do not control; their prices, features and terms may change. We update lessons when tools change.

14. Changes to the service

We may update, reorganise or improve lessons. If we ever close the platform, lifetime buyers will get at least 60 days' notice and a way to download their course videos.

15. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

16. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. You may bring a claim in small-claims court where you live. Consumer protection laws of your country still apply where they cannot be excluded.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The version and date at the top show the latest one. Purchases are governed by the version you accepted at checkout; we keep a copy of each version. Material changes to renewal terms are emailed to members at least 30 days before they apply.
